Two Years Later… 📚❤️
Over two years ago, our library and so much of what made it feel like home, was changed by the flood.
What followed was something we never could have imagined; uncertainty, hard work, countless decisions, unexpected challenges, and a whole lot of waiting. But alongside the difficult moments, there has been something even stronger… HOPE.
Over these past two years, our community has continued to show up for the library. You have asked about our progress, supported us, encouraged our staff, and reminded us again and again why this place matters.
A library is more than walls, shelves, and books. It’s a place where children discover new worlds, families make memories, people gather, and neighbors become friends. It’s a place that belongs to the whole community.
As reconstruction is finally about to begin, we’re excited to see our library take shape again. What was lost is being rebuilt, and in many ways, we’re building toward something even better.
Two years after the flood, we’re still here. YOU are all still here. We so appreciate all of the support. We’re still rebuilding. And we’re still looking forward to welcoming you back into the library on Main!
Thank you for believing in our library and walking alongside us through this journey.
Here’s to rebuilding, new beginnings, and the next chapter. 📖 ❤️
