🔥 Ohio Seasonal Burn Ban Starts March 1, 2026 🔥

🚫 To protect people and property from wildfires, Ohio law restricts most open burning in unincorporated areas starting March 1 through May 31. During this period:

🕕 Burning is ONLY allowed:
✅ 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM daily

⏱️ Burning is not permitted
❌ Between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM

📍 This applies to outdoor burning of yard waste, brush, debris, trash, etc.,

⚠️ Some materials (like food waste, petroleum products, tires, etc.) are never allowed to be burned.

📞 For local rules and safety guidance, contact your fire department or Ohio Division of Forestry.
