NWVU Rockford SheVet Chapter The National Womans Veteran United Rockford SheVet Chapter is a womans veteran organization. We monitor service delivery at the VA clinics and medical centers.

The mission of the NWVU Rockford SheVet Chapter is to ensure that women veterans are made aware and have access to their VA benefits and entitlements including current or pending legislation that impacts VA benefits. NWVU puts special emphasis on assisting homeless women veterans to ensure they have immediate housing or shelter. We advocate for improved service delivery and adequate services for w

omen veterans in federal,state, city, and county services. NWVU has built alliances with various veteran organizations. VA benefit offices to include VA clinics and hospitals and grass roots organizations. Through this collaboration we provide individual and personal referrals for all women veterans.

Our Story

The mission of the NWVU Rockford SheVet Chapter is to ensure that women veterans are made aware and have access to their VA benefits and entitlements including current or pending legislation that impacts VA benefits. NWVU puts special emphasis on assisting homeless women veterans to ensure they have immediate housing or shelter. We advocate for improved service delivery and adequate services for women veterans in federal,state, city, and county services. We monitor service delivery at the VA clinics and medical centers. NWVU has built alliances with various veteran organizations. VA benefit offices to include VA clinics and hospitals and grass roots organizations. We also have partnered up and work with the Veterans Smile Program which funds critical dental care for program eligible Veterans. Through this collaboration we provide individual and personal referrals for all women veterans.
