We had a great time this morning at Cherry Valley Elementary School's Back-to-School Block Party!

Our crew enjoyed meeting students, families, and staff as everyone gears up for an exciting new school year.

Thank you to Cherry Valley Elementary School for putting on this community event. We wish all students, teachers, and staff a safe, successful, and fantastic school year!

🍎 Back-to-School Fire Safety Tip: Take a few minutes to sit down with your family to identify two ways out of every room in your home and designate a safe meeting place outside. Practicing your home fire escape plan now helps everyone know what to do in an emergency.

Join the Cherry Valley Police Department and Cherry Valley Fire Department on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, beginning at 5:30 PM at Baumann Park for an evening of fun, food, prizes, emergency vehicle displays, a live drone demonstration, and our community kickball game.

Bring your family, meet your first responders, and help us celebrate what makes Cherry Valley such a great community.

Our crew had a great time supporting the Rock River Chaplains' Association at Saturday's Hogs & Dogs event at Kegel Harley-Davidson!

This annual event helps raise awareness and support for the volunteer chaplains who provide emotional and spiritual care to first responders, their families, and members of our community during difficult times.

Thank you to everyone who organized and attended this fantastic event!

Traffic update for Saturday. We hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend!

🎆 Fourth of July Fireworks – Traffic Information for Baumann Park 🎆

To help everyone leave safely and efficiently after the fireworks, please follow the designated traffic pattern shown on the map.

If you are parked at Baumann Park:
➡️ Exit the park onto Walnut Street.
➡️ Continue left onto E. State Street.
➡️ Turn left onto Mill Road.

Please Note:
🚧 Mill Road will be closed between E. State Street and U.S. 20.

For everyone's safety:

Follow the directions of officers and traffic control personnel.
Be patient and allow extra time to exit the park.
Watch for pedestrians and emergency vehicles.
