We are humbled to be a recipient of a $5000 grant from In Youth We Trust, a youth philanthropy program of the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois 💚 This grant helped to cover the cost of the roof for East High School's 2021-2022 build. RPS 205
The In Youth We Trust Council consists of high school students who engage in community service, volunteerism, and philanthropy, including the administration of the In Youth We Trust Grant Program. These dedicated students selected Habitat's East High School Build as a grant recipient, and we are deeply moved.
What an incredible testament of the impact that young people have on our community-- both the students who are engaging in philanthropy through In Youth We Trust, and the East High School construction students who are building this home are making a lasting impact in Rockford.
