A huge thank you to Christ Lutheran Church in Belvidere for their generous donation of Soups and Ramen Noodles to our pantry. The timing couldn't have been better, especially with the return of cold weather.
After sorting and weighing everything, we're thrilled to share that a total of 471 pounds of soup and ramen noodles will help us continue providing for our neighbors. Thank you for making such a difference in our fight against hunger!

We kicked off 2026 with a incredible gift. We were blessed to receive a donation of 335 pounds of non-perishable food items from Holy Family and its congregation. It is truly an honor to partner with them in our mission to feed our neighbors.
May this New Year be filled with compassion and generosity, ensuring no one in our community has to worry about food insecurity.
Thank you, Holy Family ✝️

What a wonderful way to close out the year at Cornucopia Food Pantry. We were honored to receive a Penny Wars donation from Spring Creek School in the amount of $633.00. This gift was made possible by a kindhearted young girl named Emerson V.
The fourth and fifth grade classes compete to collect the most pennies and every student then writes an essay. The student whose essay is selected gets to present a check to their charity. Emerson’s essay was the winner, and she chose to write about Cornucopia Food Pantry.
Emerson knows our Pantry well. She often volunteers alongside her grandparents during our Saturday Distribution days, where she sees firsthand how many people in our community need help. In her essay, she shared her hope that people would donate to Cornucopia so no one in our community feels hungry — and we can all work together towards ending world hunger. For someone so young, her compassion and insight are truly inspiring. Thank you Emerson, for being part of the Cornucopia family.
