The Fossil & Prairie Park Preserve and Center is proud to renew our partnership with Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area!

This week, staff participated in a Recommitment Conversation to celebrate our shared accomplishments, explore future opportunities, and collaborate with fellow heritage sites across the region.

For 30 years, Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area has preserved and shared the story of American agriculture by connecting people to the land, its history, and the communities that continue to shape it. We are honored to be part of this network and look forward to preserving and sharing Floyd County’s unique natural and cultural heritage for years to come.
