🎉 The Visitor Center is opening for the season on May 2! 🎉

Come explore a hidden gem where you can search for Devonian fossils, wander through beautiful native prairie, and discover the historic beehive kilns that helped shape Iowa’s agricultural roots.

🕒 Park Hours: Open daily from sunrise to sunset
🏡 Visitor Center Hours:
• Opens May 2 (Saturdays only in May, 1–4 PM)
• Open daily May 23 – September 7
• Open weekends in September & October

Whether you're into history, nature, or just a relaxing day outside, this is a perfect spot to explore. Bring the family and see what you can discover!

Mother Nature may be slowing us down, but we’re still ready to celebrate spring with our plant sale! 🌱🌼

Plants are available just inside the door at the Fossil & Prairie Center and are self-serve for your convenience.

🕗 **Hours:** Monday–Thursday, 8 AM – 3 PM
📅 Available while supplies last

**Plant varieties include:**
• Sedums
• Kalanchoe
• Echeveria*
• Pothos
• Spider Plants
• Cape Ivy
• Boston Fern*
• Canna Lily*

*Limited quantities available
