💙We want to take a moment to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to Greater Works Ministries for their incredible kindness and generosity! 🙏

Today, they blessed our Ken-Rock Community Center staff with a delicious catered lunch, and it truly meant so much to our entire team. Our staff works hard every day serving youth, families, and seniors in our community, and this thoughtful gesture reminded us how supported and appreciated we are.

Greater Works Ministries is a nondenominational church right here at Ken-Rock Community Center. “Build the lives of people, equipping them to do greater works in the earth” (John 14:12) is something they truly live out through their actions.

💙 Senior Luncheon at Ken-Rock Community Center 💙

We had another wonderful time at our Senior Luncheon here at Ken-Rock in February! It’s always so special to see our seniors come together to enjoy a great meal, play bingo, share laughs, and connect with one another. These moments of fellowship and community are what Ken-Rock is all about.

A very special thank you to the Junior League of Rockford for sponsoring this luncheon and for sending an amazing group of volunteers to serve our seniors. Your kindness, time, and dedication made this day even more meaningful, and we are so grateful for your continued support.

We look forward to many more afternoons filled with smiles, conversation, and fun! we love serving our seniors! 💙

✨ Celebrating 95 Years of Impact with the Junior League of Rockford! ✨

Ken-Rock Community Center was honored to host the 95th Anniversary Celebration of the Junior League of Rockford, and what a truly special evening it was! The ladies put together a wonder party and fed the families that attend our after-school program and played bingo for prizes! What a blast we all had 💙

Ninety-five years ago, the Junior League had a vision that brought two neighborhoods together and from that vision, Ken-Rock Community Center was born. Today, we are proud to continue that legacy by serving youth, families, and seniors in our community every single day.

We are incredibly grateful not only for the history we share, but for the continued support the Junior League provides. From sponsoring our Senior Luncheon, to volunteering their time serving our seniors, to even giving our bathrooms a fresh new look their dedication to service is unmatched, they even donated food for our food box!

This celebration was more than just an anniversary it was a reminder of the power of community, service, and vision. Thousands of lives have been impacted over the years, and we are proud to be part of that story.

Thank you, Junior League of Rockford, for 95 years of leadership, service, and commitment to making our community stronger. Here’s to the next chapter! 💙

Join one of the oldest youth softball programs in Illinois and be part of an exciting season of teamwork, skill-building, and fun! Ken-Rock Softball proudly plays at Mercyhealth SportScore One, one of the finest softball complexes in the Midwest.

🌟 What’s New This Season:
All practices and games will now take place at SportScore One, making it easier for families and players with one convenient location.

• Practices Begin: Week of May 4, 2026
• Practice Days: Mondays & Wednesdays throughout May
• Opening Day Celebration: May 30, 2026 at Ken-Rock Community Center
• League Games Begin: Monday, June 1, 2026
