Spring Ahead, Stay Safe!

As you set your clocks forward for daylight saving time, take a minute to check and replace the batteries in your smoke detectors.

✔ Test each smoke alarm in your home
✔ Replace batteries if needed
✔ Make sure alarms are installed on every level and near sleeping areas

A quick check today can save lives tomorrow.

Our thanks go to the Mendon Union Fire Department, Ohio City Volunteer Fire and EMS, and Rockford EMS for their timely assistance with the early morning house fire in Rockford.

We also appreciate the support of Rockford RoadDog, who provided food and coffee during the early morning hours at the scene.

Additionally, we are grateful to Rockford Eagles for providing lunch to our department while our trucks were being returned to service at the station.
