This week our team was able to train another group of Rockford Police Department recruits in Public Safety Mental Health First Aid.

Mental Health First Aid for Public Safety is an 8-hour, evidence-based training program designed to help law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, and correctional personnel recognize and respond to mental health or substance use challenges.

We are grateful for the partnership with Rockford Police Department to ensure our new officers are trained to better respond to those dealing with mental health challenges.

This training is funded in part by the Winnebago County Community Mental Health Board with 1/2 cent sales tax.

🚨 THIS SATURDAY — WE’RE GONNA RIDE AGAIN! 🇺🇸🏍️

The 8th Annual Jaimie Cox Motorcycle Rally is coming up THIS SATURDAY, August 29th, and there’s still time to get registered!

Each year, this ride brings our community together to honor Jaimie, remember his legacy, and support the work of the Jaimie Cox Foundation.

🏍️ Motorcycles, cars, trucks & Jeeps are ALL welcome!

🚔 Law enforcement escorted ride through Winnebago and Ogle Counties
🐷 Route hosted and led by Steel Pigs MC
☕ Breakfast before the ride
🍔 Lunch included
🎸 Post-ride party at Crazy Times Pub & Grub featuring The Nashville Electric Company

📍 START: Roscoe VFW
Registration/check-in: 8:00–10:00 AM
Kickstands up: 10:30 AM

📍 FINISH: Crazy Times Pub & Grub
🎶 Live music around 4:00 PM (estimate)

💵 $30 per person

Pre-registering makes Saturday morning even easier — if you’ve already completed your waiver online, just check in, grab your wristband and registration items, and you’re ready to go.

And if you can’t make the ride, come out to Crazy Times afterward and join us for the party and live music!

All proceeds benefit the Jaimie Cox Foundation and our continued efforts to support first responders, veterans and underprivileged youth throughout our community — all in Jaimie’s name.
