This year’s Women’s Day Tea Party may have been one of our best yet! As always, we enjoyed a fun craft, delicious tea, and a wonderful lunch. This year, we added something new, a hat competition and what was going to be a simple applause vote turned into one of the most entertaining parts of the day.

A huge thank you to the three gentlemen who stepped in as judges, 2 of our awesome Sheriffs Deputies, Watts and Young. Plus our awesome Cintas rep. They made the ladies feel like absolute queens and kept everyone laughing the whole time. The video will be posted later, and trust me, you won’t want to miss it!
We truly appreciate you more than you’ll ever know.

If you’re not already joining us at the Senior Centers, you’re missing out on a lot of laughter, smiles, and maybe even a little dancing!

We had the honor of celebrating the amazing senior volunteers from Ellerbe and East Rockingham Senior centers together at ERSC with a day of games and ice cream. Each center is so lucky to have amazing seniors who love helping out and making the center a better place. Thank you to all of the amazing seniors that were there for a day of fun. We greatly appreciate you.

ERSC hosted a Health Fair in May with a scam prevention Shred truck provided by Richmond County Aging Services SHIIP Coordinator Terry Rush. Food was sponsored by Carolina Hearts. Tables were set up by our amazing community partners. Thank you to all who were able to come and provide info for our seniors.

Melissa Wood of Farmers Home Furniture in Rockingham NC is donating a Power Drill and Driver set to Pamela Hill, of the Richmond County Human Services, for their Senior Raffle. The donated goods will help make it possible and will ensure to provide assistance to seniors for utility bills, so that they may continue to live on their own.
