NCWorks Richmond County attended the Rockingham Housing Authority Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Smith Commons housing development to be located in the Town of Dobbins Heights. This project is aimed at promoting housing stability, self-sufficiency, and community growth as the development creates more permanent, affordable housing for individuals and families. Smith Commons will currently feature 10 multifamily rental units with plans to eventually expand to 30 units. Speakers included Mayor, Antonio Blue and RHA Executive Director, Chereka Belton. We were also glad to share our workforce initiatives with Harmon Construction Services as well. Thank you to all involved, great job.👏🏠
