📣 Volunteer Opportunity in Rockledge!

The Borough of Rockledge currently has an opening on our Planning Commission, and we’re looking for residents who want to get involved and help shape the future of our community.

The Planning Commission serves as an advisory board to Borough Council on land use, development, and community growth. It’s a great opportunity to have a direct impact on important decisions in Rockledge.

🗓 Meetings are held several times a year at the Borough Building, with additional meetings as needed.

Update from Peco regarding the Gas Main
Project

Rockledge A1 4/24 to 5/08 Complete

All gas main and services has been completed we will udate when the retirement is scheduled

Rockledge A2 4/24 to 5/08
2 crews have installed 3722 ft of Gas main with a remaining 1078 ft to be completed
On Monday and Tuesday 1 crew will be continuing installing gas main on Abington Ave between Jarrett Ave and Robbins Ave
The remainder of the week Wed, Thurs, Friday we will have 2 crews working one will be on Montgomery Ave and the other will be on Jarrett Rd
Cresw will be on Abington and Valley to complet tie in work
Temporary lane closures are anticipated for this work. Access for emergency vehicles and residents will be available.
There will be a temporary road closure in place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Daily.
Rockledge A3 4/24-5/08
1 crew will begin mobilizing in on 4/30/2026 on Robbins Ave
This will be 4080 ft gas of main installation
Temporary lane closures are anticipated for this work. Access for emergency vehicles and residents will be available.
There will be a temporary road closure in place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Daily.
