This week, the United Way Space Coast team visited Sharing Center of Central Brevard for a behind-the-scenes tour with President & CEO David Brubaker. Along with our new Director of Corporate Partnerships, Josh Inguanzo, Loaned Executive Nick Malone (Carr, Riggs & Ingram), COO Michelle Malyn, and CEO Kathryn Rudloff, we saw firsthand how this incredible organization is changing lives every day.

From serving 41,073 hot meals annually and helping 15,878 food pantry clients, to distributing $1.7 million in food donations and providing weekend meal kits to families through local schools, the Sharing Center is meeting real needs throughout our community.

As we approach the launch of our annual campaign next month, visits like this remind us why our work matters. When we meet with businesses, organizations, and supporters across Brevard, we can share firsthand how donor dollars are making a difference through partners like the Sharing Center.

We're also excited to have Nick Malone serving as a United Way Space Coast Loaned Executive this campaign season. Thank you to Carr, Riggs & Ingram for investing in our community and helping advance our mission.

Together, we can inspire hope, strengthen families, and ensure that our neighbors have access to the support they need. 💙💛❤️

United Way Space Coast is proud to shine a light on North Brevard Charities, a longstanding community partner providing hope, stability, and support for individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.

For more than 50 years, North Brevard Charities & Thrift Store has worked to strengthen lives by helping meet immediate needs while creating pathways toward long-term self-sufficiency. Through emergency assistance, food support, housing programs, and community outreach, they help ensure that neighbors in crisis have somewhere to turn.

North Brevard Charities offers emergency, transitional, and affordable housing to our county's most vulnerable populations, providing safe and stable housing solutions that help individuals and families regain independence and build brighter futures.
Beyond providing essential resources, their team empowers individuals and families to overcome barriers, rebuild stability, and move forward with dignity and compassion.

This partnership reflects the belief that everyone deserves access to support during challenging times and that when we come together as a community, we can help create lasting change.

We are thankful for North Brevard Charities and their unwavering commitment to serving our neighbors across North Brevard.

Thank you to Executive Director Erik Hendrickson Cruz and Outreach & Education Director, Matthew Price RNBN at Project Response, for welcoming Kathryn Rudloff for a tour of their facility this week.

For more than 30 years, Project Response has served the Space Coast by providing HIV care, prevention services, and free, confidential testing, with rapid results available in as little as 15 minutes. With support from United Way Space Coast, they have expanded their mobile testing program to reach more neighbors with lifesaving education, screening, and care.

Partnerships like this help strengthen our community and advance the culture of caring that United Way Space Coast is committed to building, ensuring all neighbors have access to the resources and support they need to thrive.

Thank you, Project Response, for the critical services you provide every day. 💙

United Way Space Coast is proud to shine a light on Space Coast Discovery , an organization dedicated to ensuring that every child — regardless of ability — has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

For decades, Space Coast Discovery has been transforming lives through its inclusive educational approach, creating learning environments where children of all abilities learn alongside one another and receive the individualized support they need to succeed. From its beginnings, Space Coast Discovery has focused on the belief that every child can learn, grow, and achieve independence when given the right environment and support.

Serving children from infancy through elementary school, their programs combine education, therapy, and family support to help build confidence, independence, and lifelong success. By focusing on each child's unique strengths, Space Coast Discovery helps unlock potential that might otherwise go unseen.

Founded to address the community's need for early intervention and accessible special education, Space Coast Discovery continues to make a lasting impact on children and families across the Space Coast. This partnership reflects United Way's commitment to investing in strong beginnings for children and supporting families with the resources they need to flourish.

We are grateful for the dedicated team at Space Coast Discovery and the incredible difference they make in the lives of children throughout our community.

Together, we ensured children had access to nutritious meals and learning opportunities all summer long.

It takes a community. 💙 We are deeply grateful to every partner who helped make a difference in the lives of local children and families this summer.
