Sierra-Sacramento Valley EMS Agency Local EMS Agency The Sierra-Sacramento (S-SV) Valley Emergency Medical Services Agency is a Joint Powers Agency (JPA).

the Governing Board of Directors for the JPA consists of a County Supervisor from each member county. S-SV is designated as the local EMS agency for each of the member counties under the authority of the Government Code, State of California (Section 6500, et seq.)

Thank you to all the prehospital and hospital EMS System Participants that participated in the Annual (Siskiyou County) Scott Valley Multi Agency Multi Casualty Incident Training & Drill. I am not going to try and name all the participating agencies as I will likely miss some, but a special thank you to Etna Ambulance for coordinating the event.

It’s awesome to witness the professionalism and dedication that shine through when fire, EMS and law enforcement all come together to train and collaborate.

Thank you to Shasta County Sheriff’s Office, Shasta County FD/CAL FIRE, Mercy Redding Ambulance, St. Elizabeth Ambulance, AMR - Shasta County, Mercy Medical Center Redding, St. Elizabeth Community Hospital, USFS, SHASCOMM Dispatch, and all other EMS System Participants for your service at Shasta Lake this weekend (and always). And thank you for allowing S-SV EMS staff to participate and witness what you do firsthand.
