We are once again reminded that the Trump regime is all about racism and inhumane, hurtful, very costly policies regarding immigrants in our nation.

The latest set of policy changes is all about attacking immigrants who are living in the U.S. because they have Temporary Protected Status, or they have special visas, or they have green cards in order to work here, or they are seeking asylum here.

The Trump regime has ended all asylum hearings, and in order for immigrants to get a renewed green card or special visa they must begin the process with the U.S. Consulate in their home nation (for many decades they could do these renewals at designated places here in the U.S.). And the Trump regime is also working to end Temporary Protected Status despite the fact that the current situations in many nations are just horrific - collapsed economies, gang warfare, drug trafficking, you name it. The long and the short of it is that Trump wants to remove all immigrants from our nation, to create a fascist society that is all White citizens.

But the Trump regime is also hiding the true costs to the American taxpayers to implement his racist anti-immigrant policies: In order to remove over 13 million immigrants, the Trump regime will spend a minimum of $315 billion, and that is a very conservative estimate. In addition, the U.S. economy will suffer big time because the immigrants provide our economy with over $1.5 trillion in added value each year, and they pay their taxes.

The United States of America is a nation of immigrants going all the way back to when the Pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock. And it is the immigrants who are the magic that makes our nation so successful. It is time to end this Trump regime fascism, and time to protect our hard-working, loyal, patriotic immigrants. And if anything, it is time to deport Trump and his Cabinet officers to a prison in South Africa.

United States President Donald Trump has told Fox News he is in “no hurry” for a deal with Iran. Hmmm....

Let's see: The present sort-of, kinda, maybe thinking is that it will take 60 days or more to ultimately reach a deal with the government of Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz, or maybe sooner, but Trump says that he wants a strong deal so he is no hurry to move forward.

Then we need to consider the hard numbers. At present there are 1,500 to 2,000 ships stuck in the Persian Gulf, and once Iran agrees to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, the normal process of passage is for about 120 to 140 ships to pass through each day.

And then there is the hard fact that before any ship traffic can begin, all of the mines must be cleared.

So what does this all mean? It means that American farmers will not see any significantly lower prices for fertilizer any time soon, so if they do decide to plant much later than normal, it is still a very "iffy" proposition, and our food prices will go up even more as a result.

And the prices for gas, diesel fuel and jet fuel will not be coming down anytime soon - say for at least another three months, IF, and this is a big IF, the negotiations go relatively well.

So while Trump is in no hurry to make a deal with the government of Iran, we all get to suffer with very high prices for several more months to come, and over 50% of all Americans are living with food insecurity right now. But Donnie doesn't care. He is all about HIS stupid war with Iran, and HIS ability to make a nice deal to end a war that should never have been started in the first place.

The question is HOW?

1. How will printing $250 bills with Trump's face on them help all Americans to have rapidly reduced prices for food and gas?

2. How will building a $400 million fancy Trump ballroom help younger American families to pay for the rapidly increasing costs of health care and child care?

3. How will destroying the dignity of the White House with an over-produced boxing match help those Americans who live in rural areas to keep their local hospitals open?

4. How will building a $100 million arch with gold trimmings help those American veterans whose government support is now gone and they are struggling to get the health care the need and deserve?

5. How will the cost of Trump's stupid and unnecessary war with Iran, now well over $100 billion and increasing with each passing day, help all Americans to deal with the destruction of our economy by Trump's huge National Debt increases? Our National Debt now exceeds our national GDP.

6. How will the huge increases in the cost of fertilizer and the market destruction created by Trump's tariffs help our American farmers, ranchers and small business owners to survive bankruptcy?

Trump has flatly stated:

"The only thing that matters when I'm talking about Iran — they can't have a nuclear weapon. I don't think about Americans' financial situation. I don't think about anybody. I think about one thing: we cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon".

Trump does not give two cents about hard-working, loyal, patriotic American people. He thinks only about himself and lining his own pockets, and using our tax dollars to compensate convicted felons who engaged in a violent, insurrectionist attack on our Congress. It is time for all of us to unite to elect Democrats and Independents to restore sanity, humanity, and caring support for all Americans who work hard and play by the rules.

Might there be a simple solution?

Pass federal and state laws that require those corporations who want to build huge Data Centers to pay for:

1. The purchase and preservation of land that cannot be used for farming or ranching or the construction of homes where the data centers will be built, and the construction of multi-story data centers with smaller land footprints.

2. The construction and operation of desalination plants and ocean platforms for windmills to produce electricity for communities along all of our coastlines.

3. The construction and operation of solar farms, windmills, and small nuclear power plants on land that cannot be used for farming or ranching or the construction of homes.

4. Annual contributions to keep our natural parks and unique natural sites cleaned up and fully protected from floods, wildfires and other sources of damage like insect infestations, etc.

Any other considerations?

New Fed report warns of ‘remarkable’ increase in households skipping meals due to food costs [headline]

"Researchers found that a greater share of Americans have become more “food insecure” than they were in May and June of 2020 and are dipping into savings to cover expenses, struggling to access food, have kids who missed meals, or are receiving food donations or federal nutrition assistance."

"“We find a remarkable increase in food insecurity, particularly among lower-educated and lower-income households and households with young children,” New York Fed researchers wrote Wednesday."

And from KCVR public media yesterday:

"Food insecurity in the U.S. has reached its highest levels in six years, surpassing the rates seen at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Driven by prolonged inflation, high living costs, and the expiration of pandemic-era aid, 10% of U.S. households reported not having enough to eat in early 2026."

And we now find that the cost of fertilizer is extremely high due to Trump's ego-driven, stupid war with Iran, so our farmers are simply not planting any crops right now, which means that this fall we will have severe food shortages.

And yesterday wanna-be dictator Trump stated that he is not worried about the mid-term elections in November, nor is he worried about the high cost of gasoline, and that all will be well after Iran agrees to his demands to end the war.

So here we are as inflationary prices for food, gas, diesel fuel, jet fuel, health care, child care, fertilizer, transportation, etc. continue to rise each day, and now 10% of the American people are literally starving because they don't have enough income to buy food. And just when people need government help the most, the Trump regime has cut the funding for the SNAP (food stamps) program and for WIC, the program that provides milk and food for women, infants and children from low-income families.

We must work very hard to unite into a huge tidal wave of voters to elect Democrats and Independents to take control of the House and Senate in November, so that we can rapidly move forward to feed hungry Americans and to get these inhumane food prices down to levels that are affordable for all Americans. It is time to end the immoral, uncaring, inhumane Trump regime.

As we watch and listen to the reports about Trump's stupid, unnecessary war with Iran, and his current clueless, ego-driven attempts to negotiate an end to his stupid, very harmful war with Iran, we can only conclude one thing: He has no earthly idea what he is doing, and he is being out-thought, out-performed and out-maneuvered by the Iranian military leaders. He is playing a very weak game of checkers and they are playing a brilliant game of chess.

And yesterday, Memorial Day, while we honored and grieved for the 13 military service members that have been killed in Trump's stupid war with Iran, Trump honored them as well, and said that they had given their lives to make sure that Iran will never have nuclear weapons. And of course, this statement, like his opening explanation of why he decided to attack Iran in the first place, was another big fat lie. There is virtually nothing Trump can do to prevent the government of Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, unless he is willing to totally change his negotiating tactics, which he refuses to do.

So here we are, and every day we go to the grocery store the prices are higher. And every day we go to the gas station the prices are higher. And every day the Americans who used to have rural hospitals are dealing with the hard fact that those hospitals are now closed, and our veterans must drive hundreds of miles to get the care and support they need and deserve. And every day we wonder if our American economy will survive with the huge load of debt that Trump has added in the last two and a half years, as we note that our national debt now exceeds our Gross Domestic Product.

Please take time every day to reach out to family members, friends, co-workers and colleagues to help them to get fully mobilized to vote to elect Democrats and Independents in the November congressional elections. This may be the last chance we have to stop Trump and his ongoing destruction of our federal government, our economy and our constitutional republic.

Today we honor and remember all of those brave Americans who died in the many wars in our nation's history:

The Revolutionary War or War of Independence: 4,435.

The Wars Against our Indigenous Tribes: Approximately 1,000 U.S. soldiers and thousands of Indigenous Tribesmen (we have no accurate records of their deaths).

War of 1812: 2,260.

Mexican War: 13,283.

Civil War: 498,332.

Spanish-American War: 2,446.

World War I: 116,516.

World War II: 405,399.

Korean War: 54,246

Vietnam War: 58,220.

1991 Persian Gulf War/First War with Iraq: 299.

Second US War with Iraq: 4,508.

US War in Afghanistan: 2,461.

Global War on Terror (ongoing): 6,852.

So many Americans who did their solemn duty despite the horrific nature of these wars, and today we continue to grieve in our hearts and minds as we remember them and their families.

There appears to be no limit to the outright cruelty and stupidity of wanna-be dictator Trump.

From the New York Times newspaper website this morning:

Green Card Seekers Must Leave U.S. to Apply, Trump Administration Says [headline]

"The change is likely to affect hundreds of thousands of people. It could also lead to more family separations as spouses or relatives wait for application decisions, immigration lawyers said."

"The Trump administration said on Friday that most foreigners seeking green cards will have to return to their home countries to apply, a remarkable change that could make it more difficult for hundreds of thousands of people to obtain permanent residency."

"U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the agency that oversees the legal immigration system, said it would grant green cards to people inside the country only in “extraordinary circumstances.”"

The green card system up until wanna-be dictator Trump arrived in the White House, has been very successful with very few problems. Those immigrants who have green cards must re-apply each year and they have been doing so very successfully for decades. These immigrants are well-documented, and they are solid, productive people who often do the dirty, dangerous jobs that other folks will not do. They pay their taxes, they do not engage in any criminal activities, and they are loyal to the United States.

So just at a time when we are struggling to hire highly skilled immigrants who have solid track records with green cards, Donnie the cruel, clueless, heartless, immoral wanna-be dictator decides to punish these well-documented immigrants and our small and medium sized businesses who need them. It is time to flush the ultra stupid golden toilet named Trump.

Reality check: Which of these is more important:

1. The U.S. Justice Department goes to federal court in Miami, Florida, and indicts Raúl Castro, the 94-year-old former president of Cuba, accusing him of murder and a conspiracy to kill American citizens.

OR

2. Rapidly bringing down the prices of gas, diesel fuel, jet fuel, fertilizer, rents, health care, child care, and other things that are vital to the daily lives of all Americans.

Why, in the name of common sense and decency, is dictator Trump engaged in a campaign to put pressure on the government of Cuba with naval blockades, and pressure on the leaders of the Cuban government? Does he really believe that Cuba is somehow a threat to our national security?

Here is one answer to dictator Trump's latest moves in the international arena:

Trump is a super narcissist and sociopath and he simply cannot live with any criticisms of his actions or statements. Also, he knows that his second-term presidential regime is failing, big time. His destruction of our federal government, his stupid tariffs, his even more stupid war with Iran, his Gestapo ICE agents brutalizing well-documented immigrants and murdering American citizens, his destruction of our economy, and his disgusting ballroom, are all a part of his strategy of fomenting chaos every day to distract us from all of these blatant, cruel, inhumane failures.

But we shall not be distracted. We shall continue to inform all Americans of the hard truth: Trump is an evil, immoral, incompetent, clueless, inhumane, disgusting self-promoting dictator, whose regime of Cabinet butt-kissers must be stopped and removed. And your new slush fund will not stop us, Donnie. We are weaponizing a vast movement to elect Democrats and Independents to take over Congress in November, and then you and your Cabinet cronies will be impeached, convicted and removed from office.

Today we have confirmation once again that we now live in the age of the "billionaires' double standards."

From the New York Times newspaper website this morning:

I.R.S. to Drop Audits of Trump and Family [headline]

"As part of the Justice Department’s compensation fund deal, officials vowed not to pursue any matters, including those involving President Trump’s tax returns, that are pending."

"The Justice Department has granted President Trump, his family and businesses immunity from ongoing inquiries into their taxes, a potentially lucrative arrangement that could shield the president from significant financial liability."

"The provision, quietly inserted on Tuesday as a supplement to a remarkable deal that also created a $1.8 billion compensation fund aimed at benefiting Mr. Trump’s allies, protects the president, his relatives and his businesses from pending audits and tax prosecutions."

So dictator Trump gets a special immunity from any tax audits, penalties or prosecutions, and saves about $100 million, he would have had to pay in income tax penalties. And he gets a special $1.8 billion compensation fund that will benefit the white supremacist fascist domestic terrorist groups who engaged in violent insurrectionist attacks on the Capitol and our Congress, January 6, 2021.

We can only conclude that the "Justice Department" is now fully under the control and direction of dictator Trump. And he will use the Justice Department to attack his enemies. It is time to mobilize in huge numbers of voters to elect Democrats and Independents to Congress to impeach, convict and remove dictator Trump and his entire Cabinet.
