I am deeply grateful to the people of Aransas County for placing your trust in me to continue serving as your County Judge.

This campaign brought a lot of conversations, a lot of hard work, and a lot of support from neighbors, friends, and family. I’m thankful to everyone who prayed for us, encouraged us, put up signs, shared a kind word, and most importantly, took the time to vote.

Serving this county has been the greatest honor of my life. These past years haven’t always been easy, but I have always tried to lead with honesty, faith, and a commitment to doing what is right for our community.

Together we’ve worked to reduce the county deficit, increase the homestead exemption, improve streets and drainage, support public safety, and protect the coastal environment that makes Aransas County such a special place to call home.

Now that the election is behind us, it’s time to move forward together. My commitment remains the same as it was on day one: to represent every citizen of Aransas County and keep our local government grounded, responsible, and focused on the basics.

Today we received a grant from the Texas General Land Office, and we’re thankful for their continued support of our coastal community. Working together, we’re able to invest in projects that protect and improve the place we call home.

Wildfire Update & Thank You

Today our community saw firsthand how quickly conditions can change in South Texas.

Thanks to the rapid response and coordination of multiple agencies, the wildfire near Mundine Road and Highway 188 is now about 95% contained, and residents in the affected area have been allowed to safely return home. At this time, no structures were lost and no residents were displaced.

Your professionalism, coordination, and willingness to answer the call kept this situation from becoming much worse.

⚠️ A reminder to all residents: Aransas County remains under a Burn Ban.

Conditions are still very favorable for additional fires and flare-ups. Please do not conduct any outdoor burning, avoid activities that could create sparks, properly dispose of ci******es, and report smoke or fire immediately.

We will continue monitoring conditions closely and will provide updates as needed.
