Edwards County EMS, Inc. Edwards County EMS, Inc. is licensed by Texas Department of State Health Services. Our service area is listed as Edwards County.

This includes the City of Rocksprings, Texas as well as Barksdale, Texas. Because EMS of Nueces Canyon is closer and they are willing to respond to calls in Barksdale, we respond to Barksdale only when EMS of Nueces Canyon is unavailable. We are required by the state to have one team on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That team will respond to anyone who needs emergency medical service in Edwards County.

Given the recent weather events in our region, there has been a significant setback in Blood Drive’s around the area, leading to a shortage of much-needed blood for others. Because of this, our upcoming drive is extremely important.
