Rocksprings ISD is Looking for Cafeteria Substitutes

Looking for a way to earn a little extra income while supporting our school and students?

Rocksprings ISD is currently accepting applications for cafeteria substitutes to help when regular cafeteria staff are unavailable. This is an as-needed, intermittent position, perfect for someone who would like occasional work without committing to a full-time schedule.

Cafeteria substitutes may help with food preparation, serving meals, cleanup, and other daily kitchen needs.

✅ No full-time commitment
✅ School-day hours when needed
✅ A great way to support our students and staff

🎉 TWO AREAS OF DISTINCTION! 🎉

Rocksprings ISD earned two Distinction Designations in the 2025–2026 Texas Accountability Ratings:

➗ Academic Achievement in Mathematics
🎓 Postsecondary Readiness

Distinction Designations recognize outstanding performance compared with similar Texas schools. Our mathematics distinction highlights strong achievement across eligible math indicators. Postsecondary Readiness recognizes our work preparing students for success after graduation, including college, career and military opportunities.

🎉 ROCKSPRINGS ISD IS A “B” RATED SCHOOL! 🎉

We are proud to announce our incredible accomplishment! For 2026, Rocksprings ISD earned a TEA rating of a "B" with a score of 87.

This is a massive 10-point increase from last year’s 77!

This achievement belongs to our entire RISD community. Thank you to our exceptional teachers, students, and staff for your hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Your efforts continue to make Rocksprings ISD the “Best Little District in Texas!”
