This Memorial Day, the members of Woodland Engine Co. #4 pause to remember and honor the courageous men and women of the United States Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy every day, and their legacy continues to inspire us all. While many gather with family and friends this holiday weekend, we ask everyone to take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and remember those who never made it home.

We are forever grateful to our fallen heroes and their families.

May we never forget their sacrifice.

Last night, Woodland Engine Co. #4 joined the Rockville Centre Fire Department for the annual swearing-in ceremony, recognizing the officers who will lead in the year ahead.

We proudly congratulate the following members of Woodland on their election and appointments:

25 Years Ago Today… 🏆🔥
The RVC Woodlanders captured our very first NY State Old Fashioned Championship.
Since that historic win, we’ve brought home 9 State Championships and still hold 3 State Records.

Not bad for a small firehouse at the dead end of Driscoll Avenue. 🚒💪
