Today, Monday, March 16, 2026 - Update. The Rockville Senior Center will be closing at 2pm. All in person classes have been canceled. Virtual classes are on as scheduled. Last bus leaves the senior center at 1pm.

Monday, March 16, 2026 - Due to the impending severe weather, classes that start after 2 pm are cancelled. The last bus will be 1pm. We are currently staying open for drop-in use, but this may change as we head into the afternoon. Please check back here prior to coming to the center after 2 pm.

Senior Center Update for Monday, 2/23/26
For Monday, February 23, 2026 , due to the impending weather, all in-person classes are cancelled. for Monday, February 23rd. Hybrid classes will become virtual; participants should check their email. Virtual classes will remain virtual and on as scheduled. The daily lunch program and all transportation to the senior center are cancelled.
The Senior Center, including the fitness room will open for drop in use only at 10 am.
Participants should call 240-314-8800, visit the senior centers webpage www.rockvillemd.gov/seniorcenter or visit the Rockville Seniors page https://www.facebook.com/RockvilleSeniorsfor updates prior to coming to the center, as our status could change.

For Monday, February 23, 2026. Due to the impending weather, the Rockville Senior Center, including the fitness room, will open at 10 am for drop-in use only. In-person classes before noon are cancelled. Classes after noon are on as scheduled. Hybrid classes before noon will become virtual; participants should check their email. Virtual classes will remain virtual and on as scheduled. The daily lunch program is cancelled. Transportation will be offered beginning at 11 am. Grocery shopping before noon is cancelled, grocery shopping in the afternoon is on as scheduled.

The Senior Center will open ON TIME at 7:00 a.m. for the fitness center and at 8:30 a.m. for regular hours.
• All in-person classes, trips, club meetings, and events are on as scheduled. This includes the Do or Die Mystery Trip to Odenton Md.
• Hybrid and Virtual classes will run as scheduled.
• Transportation to the senior center and grocery stores is on as scheduled.
Please note that the daily lunch program is cancelled.
