♻️🌱 Big lessons for little environmental champions! 🦋💚

The children at Peppertree Children's Center had an unforgettable day exploring the Zero Waste Initiative, a collaborative program between Early Childhood Services and the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection. 🌍✨

Led by Clayton Scott from DEP's Waste Reduction and Recycling Section, our young learners discovered how small actions can make a big difference!

💚 They learned to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle
♻️ Explored what plastic is really made of
🌱 Learned how composting helps our planet
🐞 Moved and danced like bugs while learning about nature
🪴 Planted seeds in their own recycled newspaper planters to help attract butterflies

Watching these curious minds learn through movement, play, and hands-on discovery was truly inspiring. Together, we're growing the next generation of environmental stewards—one seed, one smile, and one lesson at a time. 🌼
