High-quality nutrition can make a real difference for people living with sickle cell disease (SCD). In their latest blog post, the HHS Office of Minority Health highlights the unique nutritional needs of people with SCD and includes sample recipe ideas and tips on how to prepare healthy meals. It also describes actions health care providers and systems and communities can take to increase access to high-quality nutrition for people with SCD.
