Language Corps of Montgomery County We aim to ensure that all of our residents are able to reach their full potential by providing valuable linguistic services to the thriving community.

The Language Corps connects multilingual volunteers with government agencies and nonprofit organizations looking to improve access to services for residents of Montgomery County with Limited English proficiency. “The fact that 30 percent of our nearly one million people were born in other countries presents our County with great opportunities and significant challenges.”

The Montgomery County Language Corps will give residents the opportunity to be engaged in bridging the gap between our multicultural/multi-ethnic communities. Language Corps volunteers are connected to various opportunities to use their language skills through interpretation, translation, English as a Second Language instruction, by working with newcomers in civic engagement or mentoring new families.
