Rockwall County Democratic Party The Rockwall County Democratic Party wants to enhance the ability of our local government. The CEC is chaired by the County Chair. (TDP Rules)

The County Executive Committee (CEC) is the governing body of the RCDP. Any resident in the county who supports the statement of principles of the Democratic Party and voted in the most recent Democratic Primary is considered a member of the Rockwall County Democratic Party.

Oh Katrina Pierson, try remembering your constituents in East Plano before making ridiculous claims like this. There is no “Islamification” of Texas, only the deliberate spread of fear by people seeking to exert control within their communities, like you.

It’s no coincidence that you waited to post this until after your former boss made his endorsement public. I’m sure you also had a version ready to go attacking Paxton had Trump endorsed Cornyn instead. For once, try having a thought of your own.

What’s truly damaging this country is the slow erosion of our rights under the guise of religious morality, repeated by people who haven’t even read the Bible they claim to uphold.

And for a bit of fact-checking:
1. Cornyn did support Operation Allies Welcome, but Texas was not the primary permanent destination for Afghan refugees. Fort Bliss in El Paso temporarily housed many refugees during their processing.

2. These refugees underwent background checks, and FBI review. Claiming they were "unvetted" and included “terrorists, rapists, murderers” is inaccurate and highly misleading. A more accurate statement would be something like: “Katrina Pierson helped elect a convicted felon as President of the United States.”

3. The Ismaili center in Texas is not recognized as the largest in the world, but it is the first in the US.

4. Texas remains overwhelmingly Christian, while Muslims make up roughly 1–2% of the state’s population. So much for “Islamification.”

Stop spreading fear and start representing the people in your district.
