Rockwall County EMS Rockwall County EMS provides 911 EMS services to the entire County of Rockwall Serving the citizens of Rockwall County and it's visitors since 1996.

Rockwall County EMS provides primary 911 response as well as non-emergency ambulance transport to Rockwall County Texas. Our coverage area includes approximately 81,300 residents. We operate dual-Paramedic Mobile Intensive Care Units out of three stations strategically located throughout the County.

On February 14th, Rockwall County EMS Medic 1, Medic 80 supervisor unit and Rockwall FD Engine 3 responded to a Cardiac Arrest at a local golf course.

On arrival, Fire and EMS crews utilized golf carts to get to the patient rapidly to begin lifesaving measures. Days later, the patient was discharged home with their family.

All paramedics and firefighters involved in the patient care were recognized with life-saving awards for their exceptional decisive actions that positively affected saving the life of a patient.

We are very proud of the well trained, professional paramedics of our organization.

We are pleased to share some exciting news regarding the leadership of Rockwall County EMS. Aaron Howell has officially joined RCEMS as the new Chief of Operations.

Aaron brings with him more than 30 years of experience in emergency medical services and a strong record of operational leadership across the country. Most recently, he served as Quality Assurance Manager at Fort Smith EMS in Arkansas. His past roles include Deputy Chief of Operations at Kansas City MAST (now part of the Kansas City Fire Department), Director of Operations for Paramedics Plus/EMSA in Tulsa, and Director of Operations for Paramedics Plus/Sunstar in Largo, Florida. Aaron has a well-earned reputation for improving clinical performance, operational efficiency, and employee engagement. His leadership will play a critical role as we continue to grow and evolve in service to the residents of Rockwall County.
