Get hooked on fishing!

We are partnering with the ISU Extension and Outreach Calhoun County for a FREE youth fishing event at ROOS POND on Friday June 5th, at 3:30-4:40PM!

Bring your own bait! We will supply a limited number of poles so bring your own if you have one! There will be prizes available for anglers! Come fish with us!

Free fishing weekend is a great time to share the fun of fishing with a kid, your family or a friend. Outdoor fun awaits at hundreds of Iowa lakes, thousands of miles of rivers or a neighborhood pond.

Iowa residents can try fishing without buying a license on June 5, 6 and 7 as part of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources’ (DNR) free fishing weekend. All other regulations remain in place.

We’ve officially put the finishing touches on our disc golf course at Featherstone Memorial Park, and it’s ready for players to come check it out! Come experience the newly reconstructed and reconfigured course TODAY!!

This project would not have been possible without the incredible help and support of the Linder family. If you see any of them around, be sure to give them a big thank you!
