π§ ROCKWOOD ROAD MILLAGE β NOVEMBER 3, 2026
Rockwood residents will see a local road millage proposal on the November 3, 2026 ballot.
Here are the facts:
π Current road millage: 1.9055 mills
π Current road millage status: The existing 1.9055-mill road millage is expiring.
π Proposed road millage: 1.9055 mills
π Purpose: Funding for the repair and maintenance of local roads, bridges, sidewalks, and other transportation infrastructure.
What does this mean?
The proposed 1.9055-mill millage is intended to replace the existing 1.9055-mill road millage when it expires. It is for the same general purpose of providing dedicated funding for local road and transportation infrastructure.
The proposal is not intended to add another 1.9055-mill road millage on top of the existing road millage.

Election Day: November 3, 2026
The City Council has approved the ballot language, and the proposal will be presented to Rockwood voters as part of the November 3, 2026 election.
The City will continue to provide residents with factual information about the proposal. The approved ballot language in included below for residents to review.
The City will be hosting a town hall meeting to provide information and answer questions regarding the proposal. Additional details about the meeting will be provided soon.
