Connecticut Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped Network library of the Library of Congress, National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled

The Library provides free mail loan of recorded and Braille books and magazines and necessary playback equipment to eligible state residents unable to read conventional print because of a visual or physical disability.

The Connecticut Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped is closed until further notice due to COVID-19 mitigation. The telephone messages and emails will be closely monitored and action taken as is possible. However, audio books are not being received nor mailed. Strongly recommend signing up for BARD (see post below).

The U.S. Library of Congress, National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped administers a free library program of braille and recorded materials circulated to eligible borrowers.
