Summer is here, and we want to ensure every child in our community has access to a healthy lunch. 🍎

Thanks to the partnership with Phillips 66, free lunch will be available for any child under the age of 18 in our community from June 8th through August 7th. No registration is required, please feel free to show up at one of the locations below!

Your hard work, professionalism, and commitment helped make this special milestone a success for our students and families. This week, we concluded a "Nurturing Parenting Class" (sponsored by the Contra Costa County Office of Education) designed to support parents of Adolescent JSUSD students. This class was attended by a new group of parents in response to feedback requesting evening classes geared towards supporting older Middle and High School aged children. It was a huge success, with parents expressing their appreciation for the resources and the responsiveness of our programming. Thank you to Mrs. Sonya from the Child Abuse Prevention Council and all of our community partners who have built such meaningful relationships with our community. And thank you to all of you who respond to our Community School surveys - your feedback really makes a difference! JSUSD Community, please continue sending me feedback, requests, or sharing resources or programs you would like us to partner with.

Esta semana concluimos un "Curso de Crianza Positiva" (patrocinado por la Oficina de Educación del Condado de Contra Costa) diseñado para apoyar a los padres de estudiantes adolescentes del JSUSD. A este curso asistió un nuevo grupo de padres, respondiendo así a las solicitudes de clases en horario vespertino enfocadas en apoyar a los hijos mayores que cursan la escuela intermedia (middle school) y la secundaria (high school). Fue un gran éxito; los padres expresaron su agradecimiento por los recursos y por la capacidad de respuesta de nuestra programación. Gracias a la Sra. Sonya, del Consejo de Prevención del Abuso Infantil, y a todos nuestros colaboradores comunitarios que han construido vínculos tan significativos con nuestra comunidad. Summer is here, and safety comes first!

Phillips 66 is proud to partner with the Crockett Community Services District and Crockett Swim Team to offer a FREE Swim Safety Program on Sunday, June 7.

Bring the family to the Crockett Pool at 5:30 PM for check-in. Not only will you learn vital water safety skills, but every completing family walks away with a swag-filled "wet bag," and a FREE 2026 Family Pass valued at $300!

This special program is just for our neighbors in Crockett, Port Costa, and Rodeo.
