Be sure and stop by the library today, Tues., May 19th, between 4:00 and 8:00pm to celebrate spring by making a beautiful book art bouquet. The project takes about ½ hour to 1 hour to complete. Rochelle Stern, a librarian and president of the Florence Library Board of Trustees, will guide you on completing this beautiful bouquet inside a reusable book. No registration is required, just come on in. Hope to see you here!

We have a fun display in our entryway case this month. Carol Clevenger has shared her antique flour sifters with us. Both pretty and functional, they evoke the nostalgia of baking from scratch, and all the wonderful goodies created in grandma's kitchen. Stop by and take a look if you get the chance. 🙂🍞🥧

We had planned to have a preschool storytime today, but unfortunately we have to cancel. Storytime will be on hold until future notice. We hope to pick up again in May.

This Friday, April 17th, there won't be a preschool storytime. But our presenter will be back on the 24th, so mark your calendar.

Thank you to all the kids who came to the library on Saturday to entertain us with their poetry. We look forward to Poem in Your Pocket Day every year, and we're never disappointed. Great job, each and every one of you!
