40 Mile Point Lighthouse

Coming to your favorite lighthouse this fall is Leonard Lohman starring in the Forty Mile Point Lighthouse Story. Irving Entertainment was at the lighthouse in June filming our new video which will be shown in the fog signal building. The fog signal building is handicap accessible so anyone with a disability can still enjoy viewing the lighthouse and surrounding buildings. Come listen to the story of the Lighthouse,Faye, Calcite and Glawe School. Funding was in part from the Historical Society of Michigan, donations and the gift shop.

Please join us on July 30th at the lighthouse for a special event!! Our friends from the Hammond Bay Biological Station will be at the lighthouse at 2pm for a presentation about Sea Lampreys and Lake Huron. This will be a very interesting and appropriate for all ages.

The craft show is in full swing something for everyone!! It's a little overcast but so many new items to see! Stop by our Mexican food vendor truck for fresh homemade cuisine. All fresh and the best you will find anywhere! I had chicken taco's and the best refried beans I've ever had! Fresh Kettle corn and pork rinds!!!

Tomorrows the big day! We open for the season! So many new, beautiful and interesting things to see and read in the lighthouse. It's always free to tour and climb the town to the lens.

It's almost time!! Our Lighthouse, Museum and Gift shop open on Friday May 22nd! So many new items to see and don't forget to climb the tower! It's free.

Don't cook this Saturday or Sunday, Come out to the 21st Craft Show at the 40 Mile Point Lighthouse!! We have Family Favorites Mexican Food and tables to sit and watch Lake Huron! Along with 50 vendors with hand made art for your shopping. Don't forget to climb the tower for free or see all the new items in our gift shop!

Hello, This will be the 21th year for our craft show at the 40 Mile Point Lighthouse which is 7 miles north of Rogers City, MI. The show runs for 2 days, Saturday and Sunday May 23th and 24th from 10am to 4 pm over the Memorial Day Weekend . The cost is still just $45 for both days, it's well attended and advertised. One of the superior craft shows in Michigan. We have around 50 vendors each year. If you would like an application or more information please email.
