If you have ever picked up a beautifully weighted mug, a perfectly smooth spoon rest, or a clever bacon cooker at War Eagle Mill, you have already experienced the incredible craftsmanship of Karen Bailey! šŸŒ¾šŸŗ

Karenā€™s journey with clay began in 1993 with an introductory course in Leavenworth, Kansas. Moving across the country and abroad alongside her husband during his military career, she used every new destination as an opportunity to master her craftā€”refining her skills through advanced lessons in North Carolina and a prestigious pottery internship in Maryland.

Decades of exploration, college-level teaching, and community workshops have all culminated in the gorgeous pieces she creates today at her pottery studio on Beaver Lake. Karenā€™s current work beautifully balances time-tested durability with everyday elegance. šŸŒ€āœØ
