The Rogers Police Department recognizes that recent questions and concerns have been raised regarding the use of Flock camera technology in our community. We want our residents and visitors to know that your trust is deeply valued, and maintaining transparency in how we protect our city remains one of our highest priorities. As we continue to incorporate modern tools to enhance public safety, we are committed to explaining how these systems work, why they are used, and the safeguards in place to protect your rights.

Our police department is fortunate to serve a community where partnership, communication, and mutual respect are longstanding strengths, and we strive every day to honor that relationship. We know that every question and concern may not be fully addressed, but we are hopeful that the following informational webpage we developed can help further explain the Flock technology. https://bit.ly/4wLykRZ

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our Pedal Safe, Rogers event at the HealthPartners Fieldhouse at the TruStone Center! 🚲

Participants were guided through a series of stations where the Rogers Police Department, Rogers, MN - Fire Department, and Rogers Lions MN helped with helmet fittings, bike safety and maintenance checks before riders took on the skills course.

Along the way, participants practiced stopping at stop signs, following traffic signals, looking both ways before crossing, and riding at a safe speed.

Thanks to everyone who helped make the event a success. We hope you have a safe and fun biking season!

Thank you Rogers Lions for helping make this event possible!
