Representation matters. Only 4% of state lawmakers in Arkansas have young kids.

If you think the challenges facing young families aren’t a priority to Arkansas lawmakers, you might be right! We simply aren’t in the room.

Rogers, it’s Stephanie Funk. I’m running to represent our District 15 in the Arkansas House! I’m a start-up founder & CEO, a real estate developer, and a Mom on a Mission.

Did you know Arkansas has one of the most radical abortion laws in the nation? Abortion is banned in our state, with no exceptions for r**e or in**st. Extremists in our legislature are also eyeing a ban on IVF – interfering with Rogers families’ ability to safely have healthy children. I think that’s horrible.

Our community is compassionate and informed – we know this is a complex issue, and that everyone’s situation is so different. Our State Legislature has overstepped, forcing a one-size-fits-all approach in Arkansas’s abortion ban. The good news? We can fix it - adding in exceptions for cases of r**e and in**st – and we can defeat the radicals who are coming after IVF in our state.

We can make things better for women and girls in our state by getting them the resources needed to have healthy pregnancies and births.

But I’ll need your vote. I’m Stephanie Funk, a businesswoman and a Mom on a Mission. I’d so appreciate your vote.

Rogers, I'm Stephanie Funk, Democratic candidate to represent our town in the Arkansas Legislature.

I decided to run for office before our city was rocked by that devastating tornado. But since the tornado, it's even more clear that it's time for a change in who represents us in Little Rock.

When that tornado came through, we desperately needed two things from our State Rep. We needed him to demand that more state and federal resources be brought to bear in Rogers. And we needed him to connect Rogers families to rebuilding resources.

Our State Rep didn't do either of those things. The result is a weak and unacceptable state disaster response, as well as hundreds of families being taken advantage of by predatory vendors and scammers.

I'm running because we deserve better than that. Across the board, Rogers deserves the best. As your State Rep I'll fight like hell for our community's families and businesses, and I'll hold our state's leaders accountable to doing the same.

Rogers, I'm Stephanie Funk, and I'm a Democrat running to represent our community in the Arkansas House.

I'm running, because we simply do not have an effective advocate for our families in the Arkansas House.

We're still recovering from the tornado that wrecked vast stretches of our community. Like many of you, our property sustained incredible damage. I am just so grateful that all of my family members were unharmed.

In the aftermath of that tornado, our Governor declared an emergency and allocated $250,000.00 for the recovery effort. Those of you who are navigating insurance claims and dealing with the costs of recovery understand just how little $250,000.00 is.

I know money doesn't grow on trees in our state. But I also know our Rogers community deserves a more dedicated emergency response from our state government than the drop in the bucket we received.

As you look around our district and see entire neighborhoods that haven't even begun to rebuild or repair, ask yourself: Why hasn't our state government done more for Rogers in that tornado's aftermath? Has our representative demanded more for us?

In the State Legislature, I'll advocate for your family and my family. I'll make Rogers a priority at the policymaking table. It's what you deserve from your next State Rep.
