PEARL NWA A place for healing and growth At PEARL, we believe recovery is possible and deserves compassion, accountability, and community support.

PEARL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing recovery-oriented, trauma-informed services for individuals and families impacted by substance use and related challenges. Our programming includes recovery housing and a peer recovery center offering peer support services, connection, and resources rooted in lived experience and dignity. We focus on creating safe, supportive environments where people can build stability, strengthen recovery, and move forward with hope. Our work is grounded in ethical practice, respect, and a commitment to reducing stigma while promoting long-term healing and growth.

Thank you, NWA!

Today's 6th Annual Roberds Run 4 Your Life 5K & Walk to Remember was our most successful 5k event yet, and it's all because of you.

Together, we raised $19,300, plus $20,790 in donated goods and services from local businesses and partners. That's more than $40,000 in community support for recovery in Northwest Arkansas.

Behind those numbers are 165 runners and walkers, 14 sponsors, and 48 businesses who donated everything from prize drawing items to swag bags, coffee, and water. Every one of you made a difference.

Your support helps PEARL keep doing what we do best: providing safe recovery housing, peer support, and a place where people can heal and grow.

We're so honored to carry on Ben Roberds' legacy through this event, and we are beyond blessed and grateful for our amazing community. Thank you for showing up for recovery.

Help us give a warm welcome to Cassidy Gunn, our newest Case Manager at PEARL!

Cassidy is a person in recovery and is working toward becoming a Peer Support Specialist! She has a genuine passion for her own recovery and is excited to use her experiences to help others navigate their journeys.

We’re so happy to have Cassidy joining our team and look forward to watching her grow, both personally and professionally, as she steps into this new chapter!

Yesterday, two of our PEARL ladies had the opportunity to attend the UnderstandHER Summit hosted by Dress for Success Northwest Arkansas!

The day was filled with conversations about neurodiversity, breaking down barriers, and finding ways to create spaces where everyone feels understood, supported, and included.

We love seeing our team take opportunities like this to learn, grow, and bring back new perspectives that help us better support each other and the people we serve.

Today we get to celebrate SIX YEARS IN RECOVERY for our very own Executive Director, Kyra! 🥳

Six years of hard work, growth, overcoming challenges, and building a life she can be proud of!

If you know Kyra, you know she’s a force to be reckoned with! She’s strong, driven, incredibly intelligent, and when she sets her mind to something, there’s not much that’s going to stand in her way!

One of the things we admire most about Kyra is that no matter how far she’s come, she’s never forgotten where she started. She knows firsthand that rebuilding your life isn’t always easy, and she uses what she’s been through to help others find their way. She has a way of seeing the good in people, even when they can’t see it in themselves, and she’s not afraid to push them to see what they’re capable of.

These last six years haven’t been without their challenges, but Kyra has continued to show up, put in the work, and build a life that once may have seemed out of reach. And somewhere along the way, she’s helped a whole lot of other people do the same.

Six years later, and she’s still out here making moves, breaking barriers, and showing everyone how it’s done!

We couldn’t be more proud of Kyra, not just for reaching six years in recovery, but for the woman she’s become and the difference she continues to make in the lives of those around her. 💜

Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate someone who means so much to PEARL.

For the past 5 years, Kyra has poured her heart, soul, and mind into making PEARL what it is today. Her kindness, wisdom, and genuine love for the people we serve shine through in everything she does.

So much of what Kyra does happens behind the scenes, often without recognition. Whether she’s advocating for the people we serve, supporting our team, or finding ways to make PEARL better, she gives so much of herself to this organization. And while not everyone gets to see the work she puts in, we see it, we appreciate it, and we are better because of it.

Kyra doesn’t just lead our team. She believes in us, encourages us, challenges us to grow, and reminds us why the work we do matters.

We are so grateful for the heart she brings to PEARL, the lives she’s touched, and the difference she continues to make in our community.

Happy 5-year anniversary, Kyra! PEARL wouldn’t be the same without you, and we’re so lucky to have you leading the way!

We were glad to open our doors today to The Bridge Collaborative Network.

Recovery and mental health professionals from across Northwest Arkansas gathered at the PEARL Peer Recovery Center to connect, share resources, and learn more about each other's work.

When providers know each other, people find the right support faster.

Thank you to Springwoods Behavioral Health for hosting this month's gathering, and to everyone who joined us.

If you work in recovery or mental health in NWA, TBCN meets the second Wednesday of every month at a different location around the region. We'd love to see you there.

Today was such a rewarding day for PEARL as we got to celebrate Jonathon, one of our men’s recovery house residents, graduating from the PEARL program!

Jonathon has been with us for over a year, and watching the man he has become has been nothing short of incredible. His journey hasn’t been without obstacles or setbacks, but he has continued to show up, put in the work, and make the changes needed to build a better life for himself.

Today, Jonathon has his own place, his own car, has maintained employment with the same company for over a year, and is just a couple of months away from graduating Benton County Drug Court!

We couldn’t be more proud of Jonathon and how far he has come. We’re even more thankful that we get to continue walking alongside him and watching this next chapter of his life unfold.

Jonathon, you’ve earned every bit of this. Congratulations!
