TEAM SPOTS ARE FILLING FAST!

PEARL’s 5th Annual Stripes vs Blue Community Kickball Tournament is coming up quickly, and we only have a couple team spots remaining!

If you have not registered your team yet, please do so ASAP. Team spots are first come, first serve, and registration will automatically close once we reach capacity.

We are also approaching our sponsorship deadline. Sponsors who would like to be included on printed event materials, including event t-shirts and banners, must secure their sponsorship by Friday, May 29.

We will continue accepting sponsors after May 29, but sponsorships received after that date may not be included on printed materials. All other sponsorship benefits will still apply.

And to our amazing community vendors: we would love to have you join us! Last year our vendor row stretched from the central event hub all the way down the field to the entry gate. This event continues to grow every year and brings together nearly 500 community members annually.

Vendor booths are just $50 (sponsorship levels include a vendor space as well). Vendors may sell items, share resources, promote services, or simply connect with the community.

This event is about community, connection, recovery, and bringing people together.

Register your team, become a sponsor, or reserve your vendor booth today:

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to celebrate Ashley as she graduated from the PEARL Women’s Recovery House.

Since coming to PEARL, Ashley has shown steady growth, accountability, and a strong commitment to her recovery. Throughout her time in the program, she maintained employment, built positive peer relationships, stayed engaged in peer support, and consistently worked toward the goals she set for herself.

One thing that stood out about Ashley was her honesty and self-awareness. When offered the Assistant House Manager position, she respectfully declined because she wanted to keep her focus fully on herself and her recovery journey. That kind of self-awareness takes strength.

Ashley was always willing to help others, remained in good standing throughout the program, and led by example through her actions each day.

We are proud of the work Ashley has put in and excited to see what comes next for her.

Congratulations, Ashley. We wish you the very best as you continue moving forward. đź’ś

Yesterday, our board member Barbara spent time at the PEARL Peer Recovery Center hosting a Feel Good Forum for the peers we serve.

Barbara shared her personal story of losing her son to an overdose and spoke openly about the importance of health, prevention, and recovery. She also discussed the top 10 causes of preventable deaths and offered practical ways to stay healthy and build a better quality of life.

Our peers were engaged, interactive, and eager to learn throughout the discussion. Conversations like these help create connection, education, and support within our recovery community.

Thank you, Barbara, for supporting PEARL, sharing your experience, and helping encourage healthier and happier lives for those we serve. đź’™
