Huge congratulations to our recruits on passing their Fire 1 exam today!

It's easy to overlook the countless hours spent studying and reading unless you're the one doing it.

These recruits have been pushed to the limit on the fireground, sharpening their skills through sweat and hard work but there should be no less celebration for their academic achievements.

Congratulations and on to Fire 2!!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Captain Chris Kelley and all of our law enforcement family’s during this difficult time. Rest easy brother.

Our law enforcement family is mourning the loss of a truly remarkable man.

After many years of dedicated service, Chris Kelley, a longtime Deputy Sheriff with the Benton County Sheriff's Office, (Reserve Lieutenant), and Captain with the Centerton Police Department, has passed away.

He was more than a badge and a uniform. He was a respected leader, a trusted mentor, a loyal friend, a devoted husband, and a servant to his community. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to others left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He led with integrity, treated people with respect, and earned the admiration of colleagues, friends, and community members alike. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched throughout his career and beyond.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who served alongside him during this difficult time.

Thank you for your service, your friendship, and the example you set for so many. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Rest easy, brother. We have the watch from here.

4:35pm Hwy 94 East Marine 4571, Hickory Creek Fire Department Marine 8171, Rocky Branch Fire and Rescue Marine 971, Pafford Medical Services, Benton County Sheriff's Office marine units, and Beaver Lake Fire Dept. are responding to the area of the Monte Boat Ramp for a boat fire.
