Explore what’s possible with RPS!

Families in grades K-12 are invited to Academic Programs Night to discover the many academic programs and pathways available to students as they prepare for middle school, high school and beyond.

Start with an overview of RPS opportunities, then choose two breakout sessions to explore Cambridge, Rogers Honors Academy, Advanced Placement, CTE, NWACC concurrent credit and secondary career programs, and NWTI programs.

Whether middle school is right around the corner or you’re simply planning ahead, come learn about the many ways RPS students can build a path that fits their interests and goals.

Calling all K-12 Chess Players in NW Arkansas!

On Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, we're hosting the Fall 2026 NW Arkansas Chess Tournament at Rogers Academy of Leadership & Innovation (RALI) High School.

Registration is FREE for students in the Rogers Public Schools (RPS) or $5 for all other students. Money will be collected at the door. Cash or check only. Checks can be made payable to "Rogers Public Schools Advanced Programs." [Money raised supports the continuation of future tournaments, facility fees, & trophies.]

Registration is limited to the first 200 participants.

The deadline to register is Friday, Sept. 25, 2026.

There are two divisions:
K-5th (elementary)
6-12th grade (secondary)

*Students will only play other students in their same division. Students are expected to play all five games.

There will be an hour for lunch. Lunch is NOT provided.

Schedule:
8:30-9:00am On-site Check-in/Registration
9:20am Game 1
10:20am Game 2
11:20am Game 3
12-1:00pm Lunch
1:05pm Game 4
2:05pm Game 5
3:00pm Awards (awarded to the top 4 players in each division)

Rogers Public Schools students will have an extended weekend with two upcoming days out of school:

Friday, September 4: No school for students due to a District Professional Development Day. Central Office will remain open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Monday, September 7: Rogers Public Schools will be closed in observance of Labor Day.

We hope our students and families enjoy the long weekend!

🎤🤘 What a night for the Mounties!

The Rogers High School-Arkansas Choir had an incredible time performing onstage with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band Foreigner at the Walmart AMP in front of 16,000 people! 🎶

What an unforgettable experience for these talented students. We’re so proud of the way they represented Rogers High School and Rogers Public Schools on such a BIG stage!

We stopped by The Big Biscuit today to pick up a generous donation of school supplies for our students, but Dr. Perry and CFO Jake Haak couldn’t leave without taking on the Three Car Pile Up Challenge! 🥞🍳🥓

A big thank-you to The Big Biscuit for supporting Rogers Public Schools and helping our students start the year ready to succeed. We’re grateful to welcome this new restaurant and community partner to Rogers!
