This week marks the final stretch for recruits at the Spring 2026 NWA Fire Training Academy.

After 10 weeks of training, they’re just days away from graduation. We’re proud of the effort each recruit has put in and can’t wait to see what’s next for them.

Sharing some of our favorite moments from the academy as they finish strong this week!

Last week, members of the Rogers Fire Department took part in the annual Police vs. Fire Kickball Game during the City of Rogers Summer Celebration. Friendly competition between our departments is always a highlight, and this year was no exception!

While the real win is the strong partnership we share in serving our community, we'll admit it's nice to bring home the trophy too.

Shoutout to the 2026 NWA Spring Academy for showing up and showing out to support Team RFD!

A big thank you to the Rogers Police Department for a great game and for making us earn every run. We appreciate everything you do for our community—both on and off the field.

The bond between fire and law enforcement runs deep. Today, we stand beside our brothers and sisters in blue as they grieve the loss of one of their own.

Today, the Rogers Fire Department joins our law enforcement partners in mourning the loss of Captain Chris Kelley.

Captain Kelley dedicated his life to serving and protecting with honor, integrity, and compassion.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the men and women of the Benton County Sheriff's Office and Centerton Police Department during this difficult time.

Our law enforcement family is mourning the loss of a truly remarkable man.

After many years of dedicated service, Chris Kelley, a longtime Deputy Sheriff with the Benton County Sheriff's Office, (Reserve Lieutenant), and Captain with the Centerton Police Department, has passed away.

He was more than a badge and a uniform. He was a respected leader, a trusted mentor, a loyal friend, a devoted husband, and a servant to his community. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to others left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He led with integrity, treated people with respect, and earned the admiration of colleagues, friends, and community members alike. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched throughout his career and beyond.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who served alongside him during this difficult time.

Thank you for your service, your friendship, and the example you set for so many. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Rest easy, brother. We have the watch from here.

At the Rogers Fire Department, our mission goes far beyond responding to emergencies—it’s about caring for people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Recently, the members of Station 4, C-Platoon received a heartfelt letter from a family expressing their gratitude for the compassion, professionalism, and kindness shown during a medical emergency. While clinical skills are critical, it is often the human connection our firefighters and paramedics provide that leaves the greatest impact.

We would like to recognize Aaron Melson, Devin Smith, Jared Cate, Caleb Rigsby, and Jake Payne for the exceptional care they provided. Their actions exemplify the values of the Rogers Fire Department and demonstrate how a few words of encouragement and genuine compassion can make a lasting difference in someone's life.

Thank you to the entire Station 4, C-Platoon team for your dedication to serving our community with professionalism, courage, and heart. We are proud of the difference you make every day.

We need your input!

If you live, work, or spend time in our community, your feedback helps us understand what is important to you and how we can better serve you moving forward. We have launched a short, anonymous survey as part of our community-driven strategic plan. This plan engages the public, as well as our personnel and leadership, to help create a five-year plan focused on departmental growth and the protection of our community. The survey is available in both English and Spanish, takes just a few minutes, and is mostly quick, multiple-choice questions

Scan the QR code or visit the link in our bio! The Spanish version will be pinned in the comments.

We recently had the opportunity to host Dr. Fischer, Medical Director of Trauma Surgery at Washington Regional, for a trauma refresher course with our personnel. This training provided an in-depth review of traumatic injuries and treatment approaches, preparing our personnel for the calls they respond to.

We are grateful for the continued partnership with our regional healthcare providers and the opportunity to learn from their expertise, helping ensure we provide the highest level of care to our community!
