Today, we want to send a huge Happy Father’s Day to every single dad, grandfather, and father figure across Hawkins County!

Being a father takes strength, patience, and a willingness to put others first every single day. To all the dads who work tirelessly to provide for their families, guide the next generation, and keep their homes safe—our community is stronger because of you.

We also want to give a special nod to the fathers who serve on our squad, balancing family life with answering the call to help their neighbors whenever needed.

Whether you are spending the day relaxing with family, grilling out, or working hard on the job, we hope you have an incredible, safe, and well-deserved Father's Day!

Thank you for everything you do.

The past several days have been busy for our agency, from calls to community events to training.

On Saturday, June 13th, members of our agency spent the day honing their driving skills while driving the EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operator Course) driving course as part of our ongoing commitment to better help those we serve. These members previously took the classroom part of the training, which included a passing a written exam prior to doing the driving course.

These members will continue the next step by doing an over-the-road driving exam and logging a minimum of 90 miles prior to being considered to drive and respond emergency in one of our agency’s vehicles. Some type of driving is done on each and every call by our members and our agency is committed to ensuring our members receive the best driver training possible.

We appreciate these members who spent their Saturday in the hot sun learning how to better help those we serve. Special Thank You to the Hawkins County Industrial Board for allowing us to use space in Phipps Bend to train!
