Water is down to Rock Point. Had to delay bringing it forward due to spillway vandalism repair (pulled sealed boards replaced) and emergency excavation work at three places before water could continue. On its way passed Brothertons.

Bob is walking it down solo for now.

Water is on the way to Galls Creek. Lots of debris due to yesterday's storm. Tree branches to trees in canal. Will let you know next step when Bob reaches each daily goal.

FYI: At the Board meeting last night, it was decided to start walking the water down on Wednesday, April 8th, first thing in the morning. It will take about 4-5 days to reach the end of the canal. Debris has to be removed while the water starts flowing in your area.

When there are more specifics as to the area and where the water will be each day, it will be noted here. We are fluctuating between really cool days and projected 80 degree weather.

Will let you know what is happening

10/07/2025

FYI: On Tuesday, October 14th, the head gate will be closed and the canal shut down for the season. If there are any changes, it will be noted here.

Repairs will continue through the fall, winter and early spring.

Water is to Miller's Gulch. On to Foots Creek tomorrow.

05/01/2025

Water is to Rock Point today and on its way to Miller's Gulch tomorrow. Then on its way again. Walking it down takes time, but it involves lots of muscle to take the leaves and debris out for 14+ miles ahead of the water. It will reach you soon

04/29/2025

Water was spilled at the Fire Station yesterday. Today, the plans are to take it to Galls Creek. It takes about 4-5 days to walk the water to the end of the canal cleaning the leaves and debris out of the canal.

The canal is a little over 14 miles long. The crew will get it to you as soon as they can.

04/22/2025

FYI: Repair is being done on the canal this week to prevent further damage after the water is turned on for the season. The canal is now dry enough to do the repair so that it will hold.

Received word that the water will start on the way on Monday morning. If the work is completed earlier, the notice will be posted here as soon as it is reported to the office.
