Update May 3, 2026- Petaluma Police have confirmed that Chace is home. Thank you all for your amazing support!!!

We are writing to ask for your assistance in locating Chace Finn, a young man who is missing from Petaluma. If you have heard from Chace, know where he may be, or have any details that could help, please do not stay silent. Reaching out is the right thing to do. Please ~ tell your parents, talk with a teacher, phone a friend, or call the police.

Chace lives in Petaluma with his parents, Michael and Nadine Finn. Nadine is a beloved educator in our district. She and Michael adore their son and are worried about his safety. They are anxious for him to return home to them and their dog, Twix.

Chace attends Carpe Diem High School in Petaluma City Schools, and a Nixle alert shared by the Petaluma Police Department indicates the following:

Sixteen-year-old Chace Finn left his residence on the morning of April 28th without notifying his parents and has not returned. Finn was reportedly in the downtown Petaluma area that afternoon and has since been seen as far south as San Rafael in and around the Civic Center.

We are asking our community for help in locating Chace, as his mother is a valued member of our CRPUSD family. Here is Nadine Finn’s heartfelt plea: “I love him, and I miss him, and I want him home and safe, and we’ll do anything to bring him home!”

We want to especially encourage Chace's friends and peers to come forward if they have any information about his whereabouts. Friends are often the first to know a text, a conversation, a location shared, and that small piece of information could make all the difference in bringing Chace home safely. If you have heard from Chace, know where he may be, or have any details that could help, please do not stay silent. Reaching out is the right thing to do.

If you have any information or have seen Chace Finn, please call the Petaluma Police Department at (707) 762-2727. Please reference PPD Case 26-1526.
