This week, the Rolette FFA chapter traveled to Fargo to attend the North Dakota FFA Convention. Throughout the week, members participated in Career Development Event (CDE) competitions, workshops, and delegate sessions.
A special congratulations goes to Ella Pederson, who earned her State FFA Degree—the highest honor an FFA member can receive at the state level. This achievement reflects her dedication, leadership, and commitment to agriculture and FFA.

🏆 2026 NDHSAA STATE TRACK MEET FINALS 🏆

What an incredible weekend for the Rolette Wolford Comets Track & Field team at the 2026 NDHSAA State Track Meet! Our athletes competed with heart, toughness, and pride all weekend long and brought home an unforgettable list of accomplishments! 🔥

🏅 Eryn Pederson found the podium twice for the Comets with a 7th place finish in the 300m Hurdles and an 8th place finish in the 100m Hurdles. Eryn also broke the school record in the 300m Hurdles during prelims with a time of 46.20!

🏅 Halle Handegard earned a podium finish of her own with a 7th place finish in the 100m Dash.

🏅 Tristen Marsh had an outstanding day on the track, placing 6th in the 100m Dash and 4th in the 200m Dash. Tristen also improved his own school record in the 200m Dash during prelims with a time of 22.37!

👑 Ella Pederson capped off her incredible senior season in amazing fashion:
🥇 2026 Girls Class B State Champion – 100m Dash
🥈 2026 Girls Class B State Runner-Up – 200m Dash

🏅 The relay team of Eryn Pederson, Ella Pederson, Elizabeth Lewis, and Halle Handegard wrapped up an unbelievable season with TWO State Runner-Up finishes in both the 4x100m Relay and the 4x200m Relay!

🔥 The 4x200m Relay team also improved their own school record with an incredible time of 1:42.82!

And if that wasn’t impressive enough… those four girls scored enough team points to bring home a 3rd Place Team Finish for the Rolette Wolford Comets!

We are incredibly proud of all of our athletes and coaches for representing Rolette with pride all season long. What a way to finish the year!
