What a great day in Rolla last Wednesday, May 6.

Over 80 job seekers connected with more than 40 employers during the Rolla Regional Spring Hiring Event at the National Guard Armory. From healthcare and manufacturing to public service, education, and skilled trades, employers and job seekers had the chance to make real connections and explore new opportunities.

Thank you to all of the employers, partners, and job seekers who helped make this event a success. We also appreciate Food for Your Soul Food Truck for keeping everyone fueled throughout the day.

Events like this are about more than job openings. They’re about building connections, supporting local businesses, and strengthening our communities across the Central Region.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the women who nurture, guide, support, and show up for others every day.

Today, we celebrate moms, moms-to-be, grandmas, stepmoms, foster moms, mentors, caregivers, and the everyday superheroes who help shape lives and strengthen communities. We also recognize those who may not have children of their own, but still lead with compassion, encouragement, and care for the people around them.

The impact of a supportive voice, a helping hand, or someone who believes in you can last a lifetime.
