The official page of the Stonehenge Battalion Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) at Missouri University of Science and Technology. We are an educational and leadership development program that combines classes in military science with practical leadership training in order to create the Army Officer. Partnership schools: Columbia College, Drury University, Park University, and Webster University in the Rolla/Ft Leonard Wood area.

On Saturday, February 21st, the Military Appreciation Basketball Games were held. During the games we presented the colors with our colorguard, and held halftime competitions with our Air Force ROTC, Detachment 442. We also congratulated the excellence of our commissioning and contracting cadets.

We would like to give thanks to everyone that showed up to support our cadets, the veterans who attended the game, and the school for having us.

The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Sergeant First Class Cassiday for speaking with our cadets about the opportunities available in the 75th Ranger Regiment and for sharing his personal experiences. We also thank Major Steingruby for providing an in-depth presentation on the diverse opportunities within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and for highlighting how Army Engineers play a vital role in both combat operations and critical infrastructure projects around the world.
Additionally, we congratulate Cadet Scott Stutsman on being recognized as the highest performing cadet from our program at Cadet Summer Training. Cadet Stutsman earned the RECONDO Badge for demonstrating exceptional performance for his physical fitness, rifle marksmanship, land navigation skills, warrior skills, and other evaluated tasks.

Connor Mulkey graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. In October 2019, he enlisted in the Missouri Army National Guard as a 12B Combat Engineer and attended OSUT (One Station Unit Training) in 2020. He returned to Missouri S&T and eventually contracted with the Stonehenge Battalion as an SMP Cadet. Cadet Mulkey has participated in Ranger Buddy and Northern Warfare Challenge and is proud to have worked on starting Stonehenge Battalion’s Recruitment Committee. Cadet Mulkey has held positions in the Battalion as S5, S9, and TAC.

Upon commissioning, 2LT Mulkey will attend the Engineer Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and will be assigned to the 1135th Engineer Company out of Richmond, Missouri, in the Missouri Army National Guard. Congratulations Mulkey!

Jakob Ferguson graduated with a bachelor’s in computer science from the Missouri University of Science and Technology where he achieved a spot on the Dean’s list every semester and graduated Summa Cum Laude. While he was in ROTC, he participated in Ranger Challenge in 2022. As a senior, he held the S-3 and assistant S-3 positions. Having been enlisted in the Army National Guard since 2021, CDTFerguson had the opportunity to demonstrate his leadership skills during drill weekends and annual training with his unit. He was recently married and welcomed the birth of his daughter.
 
Upon commissioning, 2LT Ferguson will attend Cyber Basic Officer Leader Course (BOLC) at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia. Congratulations Ferguson!

Michael Radlund graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. During his time in ROTC, Cadet Radlund participated on the Ranger Challenge team in 2021 and 2022, including being part of the team that went to the international Sandhurst Military Skills Competition at the United States Military Academy at West Point. After this experience, he coached the team during the following two years. He also competed in Ranger Buddy in 2021 and 2023. In 2022, he interned with the United States Army Corps of Engineers in the Kansas City District. Additionally, in 2023, he earned his Air Assault Badge at the Sabalauski Air Assault School. As an MS3, he was the assistant PAO; as an MS4, he held the S4 and PAO positions.

Upon commissioning, 2LT Radlund will attend the Armor Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Benning, Georgia. Congratulations Radlund!
