Today, we had the honor of attending the graduation ceremony of our department's agency-sponsored cadet, Officer Joshua Mosely.

After seven months of attending the Capitol Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) Basic Peace Officer Academy, Officer Mosely will be joining our department with a whopping 1,080 hours of extensive, state-recognized training. He graduates as 11th in a class of 46 cadets.

We thank Officer Mosely for the hard work and dedication he put in to completing his training, and we're eager for him to begin his next chapter with Rollingwood!

Thank you to The Rudnicks for bringing their famous gumbo and a puzzle to keep us busy!

With city staff staying at City Hall over night during the storm, a warm meal and an activity to keep us busy is enthusiastically welcomed with gratitude.

๐Ÿ“ž CONTACT INFORMATION UPDATE

To improve the safety and efficiency of Rollingwood police officer incident response, Rollingwood Police Department has transitioned our non-emergency phone line to Travis County Dispatch. Residents with non-emergency reports are now asked to call (512) 974-0845 (option 3), to speak with a Travis County dispatcher directly.

Dispatchers are trained to strategically gather information and create documentation on a report/call as it comes in. They then immediately forward the information and documentation to Rollingwood police officers, allowing Rollingwood officers, and any other emergency response personnel needed, to respond and arrive on-scene safe, prepared and informed.
