ROLLINSFORD, NH – On Wednesday, May 27th, 2026 at approximately 1:37 PM, the Rollinsford Police Department, Rollinsford Fire Department, and Dover Fire and Rescue were dispatched to Portland Avenue, between Roberts Road and General Sullivan Way, in Rollinsford, for a reported 2 vehicle crash with injury.
A preliminary investigation found that Warren Preston, 61, of Concord, NH, was driving westbound on Portland Avenue in a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 when he crossed the centerline and struck a 2003 Chevrolet Impala that was traveling eastbound, operated by Avery Therrien, 20, of Rollinsford, NH. The crash resulted in both vehicles coming to rest in the ditch on the south side of the roadway with heavy damage. Firefighters extricated Preston from his vehicle, and both he and Therrien were transported to area hospitals with life-threatening injuries. Portland Avenue was closed for an extended period of time to allow for investigation and clean-up.
