National VISION Conference 2025 🎡

At the end of June, TASC State Secretary Student Representative and Roma High School Student Council President Isabella Elizondo as well as her advisor Rebeca Garcia attended the 2025 National VISION Conference. Elizondo and Garcia were able to learn from leaders all over the country while also being able to connect with their fellow TASC board members. Elizondo and Garcia are extremely grateful to have been able to be part of this unforgettable opportunity and would like to thank .stuco for being an amazing host. The National VISION Conference truly brought “The World’s Best Leaders all Under One Tent” and Roma is so glad to have participated for the first time ever!

☀️ 2025 TASC State Steering Retreat ☀️

This summer, Roma High School began to fulfill their duties as TASC Secretary by attending the annual State Steering Retreat in New Braunfels, TX (TASC - Texas Association of Student Councils). Student representative Isabella Elizondo and advisor representative Rebeca Garcia were thrilled to be able to work alongside fellow TASC officers and Board of Directors. Throughout the duration of the event Isabella and Ms. Garcia were tasked with attending various workshops which covered the importance of leadership, service, and collaboration as a whole. The entire experience provided insight into educational, social, physical and mental issues citizens in Texas face and how the state intends to respond. Isabella and Ms. Garcia are excited to be serving since they are able to hear from others and actively participate in providing a state wide impact. They also intend to provide for their own council by bringing back everything they have learned to the Roma High School Student Council. Thank you so much to for the opportunity and continued support. We are looking forward to the future!

Today, our student council officers delivered gifts to the assistant principals at Roma High School in honor of Assistant Principals Week as an expression of our gratitude for their support and dedication. We truly appreciate all they have done for us and continue to do every single day. Happy Assistant Principals Week! ❤️☺️📌

Applications are due on April 22, 2025 at 4:00pm and you must MAKE A COPY of the document in order to fill it out. 🤗

This past weekend, Roma High School’s student council attended the TASC 2025 annual high school state conference. This year, in particular was special since it was Roma’s first time campaigning to be elected as a TASC state officer. Through the various efforts of our student council, Roma was able to become the 2025-2026 TASC state secretary, with their student representative being Isabella Elizondo. This is a huge milestone not only for our student council but for Roma itself, as it’s the first time in history that Roma will ever serve on the TASC state board. All of our students are extremely appreciative of everyone’s support and cannot wait for the year ahead! ⭐️❤️

Today, our DASH committee successfully organized its second blood drive in collaboration with Vitalant. This event was a great success and we thank all participants who contributed by donating blood. ❤️🩸🤗

This Wednesday, March 19, we will be hosting our second blood drive in collaboration with Vitalant! If you would like to attend, you can grab a permission slip during all 3 lunches under the dome or stop by room 30 during passing periods ONLY! Last day to get a permission slip is this Wednesday! We hope to see you there! 🤗
