The Roma Fire Department and the Roma Police Department Emergency Services Unit (ESU) responded to assist the La Casita Fire Department with a structure fire.

A total of 52 firefighters are currently on scene, with multiple fire departments and emergency response agencies from across the Rio Grande Valley and Starr County providing mutual aid. Three structures were destroyed by the fire.

The Roma Fire Department and the Roma Police Department Emergency Services Unit remain committed to assisting our neighboring departments whenever called upon. Through mutual aid and regional partnerships, we stand ready to support surrounding communities during emergencies and work together to protect lives and property.
